BeerMail Resurrected!
Back from the depths of my weak computer skills I call forth thee BEERMAIL!!! That would’ve been a lot cooler if I had a sword and a wizard or tiger behind me when I spoke that…
So heelloooo everyone and welcome/willkommen back, if you would like to join our Beermail List then please send me an email Dave@Firkin.us so you can get the full monty like the example below instead of just the regular updates found on the blog.
BIG SKY PARTY!
When: Sunday, Sept 13th 4pm-???
Where: Firkin! 515 N Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, U.S.A.
What: Come meet brewer Matt Long and Others from Big Sky Brewing Co
Long story short (get it) come on down to hang out with Matt and us while sipping their very tasty beverages. On tap we will have: Moose Drool, Trout Slayer, I.P.A., Olde Blue Hair Barleywine, and a special Belgian Wit. On cask we will have a treat because he’s bringing down a rare cask of their E.S.B. In bottles we will be featuring Bourbon barrel aged Olde Bluehair and more surprises!!
New on Draught:
Dark Horse Sapient Trip ale which is a pretty damn well made Belgian strong Abbey Tripel with nice pepper and candi sugar hints.
I Spyed/Heads Up!:
I found a couple of bottles of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 2008 on the shelves at Gold Eagle in Libertyville, looks like Goose had an extra case and shipped it to them. Also if for some reason you’re out in California in the next couple of weeks and can’t get to Russian River Brewing Co. might I suggest their online beer store… They will only ship instate, so my idea is go to the online store, buy it a week or two before the trip, have it sent to the hotel where they will store it for you until you arrive! Viola!
